Going Global with Flavors!

Nestle Professional going Global with Flavors! Maggi is the #1 most frequently purchased food brand in the world1. The Maggi brand originates from Switzerland where in 1863 Julius Maggi created a recipe of flavors to bring added taste to meals.

Maggi products feature the authentic ingredients and flavors of the global brands, produced locally in the US at Minor's W.25th plant. A Datassential survey of 403 US foodservice operators found that the Maggi brand is particularly familiar among three key groups:

  1. Chefs
  2. Operators with a strong ethnic focus- this is true across multiple ethnic types, and is not tied only to a particular ethnic area
  3. Operators with a strong ethnic focus -those born outside the US - awareness double among those born outside the US
